Topic: [0.5RC4-UP1] Sliding is not smooth

Tests done on IPhone3G

The sliding between 2 layers is not smooth.
Black background is visible between transitions
Blinking appears on the header section

Is there any improvements planed ?
Is there a solution ?

Thought it was fixed... Do you have a sample code showing this problem. I know this may occur sometimes if layers are heavy.

The pb occurs on my IPhone with OS3.0
You can check on the following temporary URL: http://208.48.207.184:8180/analytics/test1.html

-When you click a list Item, you see the  black background during the sliding effect. Blinking is visible as well...
-When you click to the Home button (on the next layer) to get back, blinking appears after the display

I have found the pb...
The pb was due because i have inserted an image like this:

        <a href="#" id="waHomeButton">Home</a>

    </div>


When i remove the image all is OK...

I saw a similar smooth bug with translate webkit transformation (OS3).

The slide was smooth on OS2 but unusable with OS3.0. There seems to be a bug with the new OS3, and the solution is to use the 3d version of the translate transformation (translate3d). Just add a '0' third parameter to the call. The problem has been solved and the animation is smooth again !!!
