Topic: mail link causes app freeze

Hey,
If I click on mail link (href=mailto:) and on mail menu cancel, the view seems to freeze.
You can click on other links on the same page but links' background get messy and
you can't slide to another layer whatsoever. Even on demo site http://demo.webapp-net.com
(Links->Send Message->Cancel)

I too have just encountered exactly the same problem. links in menus 'freeze' upon cancelling an email following clicking a mailto link. weird as buttons still work as normal. load up http://www.itourettesguy.com in your iphone or simulator for example of the problem.

As an aside, this action of a new email page sliding up within a Safari session is obviously different on an iPhone to an iPod touch, because when I tap the email link on the demo or my own app using my iPod, the Sarafi app closes and the Mail app opens, launching a new email action. If you then cancel this, it leaves you in the Mail app, as expected. Yet when I do the same thing with my iPhone simulator (v.3.1 (139.1)), I get the 'bottom slide up' effect and can reproduce the bug as reported. Interesting - I never before realised this was different and better (without the bug) on an iPhone ...unless I'm missing something obvious!
